Meet the Artists!
Here you can learn all about the artists that bring our paintings to life! All of the Pigcasso artists are talented and love to paint in their own unique styles.
Willow
Willow is 5 years old and was adopted at 1 year old.
Willow spent her first year as a lab piggy, so she took some time to adjust and learn to live as a normal guinea pig.
However, with the help of her human and many piggy friends, she has blossomed into an amazingly sweet and outgoing girl.
Willow is a huge foodie who loves to paint and learn tricks. She is always the first one at the side of the cage when I get the painting gear out and runs out excited to grab the paintbrush and get started!
Whenever it is not her turn to paint, she can usually be found impatiently gnawing the bars in protest.
Willow is a super enthusiastic painter. She loves to switch up her painting styles with wide, sweeping brush strokes and deliberate dabs and dots at the canvas, making her art stand out with beautiful bold strokes of color.

Pansy
Pansy is about 3 years old and was adopted as a baby from her owner who was allergic to her.
Pansy is a happy and laid-back girl. She loves posing for photos in between naps and is a very pretty and photogenic girl.
Pansy can be a bit of a diva and needs her food properly prepared to her liking by her human piggy slave. However, she is a very sweet and loving little floof.
Pansy loves to pick up objects and move them around, so painting has been a really fun trick for her to learn!
Pansy likes to paint with dots and blotches of color, especially around the center of the canvas. Her brush strokes are not large, but her paintings still tend to come out very bright and bold in the end. She likes to switch between straight brush strokes and smaller pokes at the canvas, resulting in a random mix of colors and patterns in her art.

Skylar
Skylar is 4 years old and was adopted with her young baby, Skittles when she was about 8 months old.
Skylar is a very smart girl who thrives on learning new things. She is very adventurous and loves getting into anything she can. She is a huge social butterfly and loves anyone who brings her food.
All of Skylar’s favorite tricks involve picking up and throwing objects around, so she always has lots of fun creating her paintings.
Skylar is a confident painter who puts her all into everything she does. Sky is a very deliberate painter and generally paints with strong and bold brush strokes.

Skittles
Skittles is 3 years old and she is the daughter of Skylar! This girl is just as smart and energetic as her mom. She loves to train and be involved in everything.
Skittles is a huge foodie and very quick to learn new things. Like Skylar, her skills are not limited to painting! She loves to play basketball, run mini agility courses, and so much more.
Skittles loves to be in the spotlight and thrives on anything active. She does not like to sit still and much prefers to follow me around and see what she can get into. 🙂
Skittles’ painting style consists of several subtle, thin brush strokes. Her paintings tend to have a lot of lines and detail. She also loves to paint near the top of the canvas, which is quite unique to the other pigcasso artists who generally like to paint in the lower or mid-range of the canvas.

Callie
Callie is a 5 year old Abyssinian, adopted at about 3.5 years old. Callie is a little more reserved and independent, but she has come out of her shell immensely with the help of her 4 new bonded piggy sisters.
Callie is a very sweet girl who loves attention and all kinds of veggie treats! She loves posing for photos and has grown to love painting too!
Callie paints with relatively thin and quick brush strokes. She paints with a mixture of low, medium, and high strokes.

Nala
Nala is a 2.5 year old Abyssinian guinea pig, adopted at 1.5 years old. Nala is the sweetest social butterfly. She is always a happy little ray of sunshine, eager to explore and investigate anything she can get her nose into. She loves to greet everyone, especially if you have food!
Nala is very nibbly and curious and thrives on learning tricks. She loves picking up and tossing things around, so painting was very natural to her.
She paints with the utmost enthusiasm, throwing her paintbrush at the canvas with passionate brush strokes. Her paintings are always bold and colorful.

Peach (RIP)
Peach sadly passed away in the summer of 2024 at 5 years old. This girl was much loved and will be remembered fondly as the herd diva.
She loved her naps and could often be found perched on one of her many fluffy fleece beds.
Peach was a massive foodie, as long as it was prepared to her liking! She only liked the greenest parts of the lettuce and would not tolerate anything that was sub-par.
Peach also loved to be petted and would close her eyes and melt as you stroke her back.
Peach’s painting style was very consistent and methodical, striving for perfection in every masterpiece. She loved to paint with deliberate pokes and thinner lines, resulting in multiple splashes of color across the painting.
